Marian Fitzpatrick, PT, OCS, NCS

Marian Fitzpatrick is the founder and owner of Fitzpatrick Physical Therapy.  She received a BS in Physical Therapy from Fresno State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She worked in multiple settings in San Francisco and Sacramento prior to founding Mother Lode PT in 1996 and then Fitzpatrick Physical Therapy in 2002. Her broad experience and commitment to continuing education led to board-certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (2010) and a Neurologic Clinical Specialist (2011). She is also certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation through APTA/ Emory University (2011). She is passionate about providing high-quality physical therapy in the rural settings of the Placerville and Jackson regions. She believes in the value of PT and has expanded outreach through programs such as Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s, and Fitzpatrick PT’s year-long mentorship for young therapists. 

Marian loves the rivers and mountains of our Sierra Nevada region, and treasures her friends and family.

Ed Nickerson, PT

Ed graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1984 with a BS in Physical Therapy, and has worked in the orthopedic outpatient setting ever since. Pursuing manual therapy training, he completed the Folsom Physical Therapy Long-Term Course in 1987 and 1990. He subsequently became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 1996 and then a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 1999. Ed taught in the Sacramento City College PT Assistant Program from 1995 until 2002. Ed has extensive experience in settings where he works closely with orthopedic surgery groups. His strong interest in clinical education make him a natural fit for the mentorship program Fitzpatrick PT provides tp young therapists. Ed also teaches continuing education seminars throughout the region with the Folsom PT education division.

Ed enjoys cycling. music, traveling with his wife and keeping track of his 2 grown sons Brian and Daniel.

Angelo Petriello, PT, DPT

Angelo is an Amador County native, graduating from Argonaut High School in 2010. An interest in sports and in helping others led to Sonoma State University, where Angelo received his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology in 2014. He continued this path and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of the Pacific in 2016. His treatment philosophy centers around manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation. and therapeutic exercise.  He is dedicated to on-going learning and to helping his patients.

In his free time he enjoys watching football, hiking, fishing, exercising, and spending time with friends and his dog, Kylo.
